An old home for a new community…

Take a look at our newest video on Sant’Igne - the 13th century monastery meaning “Holy Fire” that was built by St. Francis and his brothers in the small Italian town of San Leo. It just so happens to be vacant and in the same diocese as the Benedictine Daughters of Divine Will! However, funds are needed to make this historic building our new monastery. When the Benedictine Daughters returned home to Talamello after spending a few weeks visiting the United States, they were welcomed back with the biggest blizzard Italy had ever seen. New beginnings in our new diocese…

After spending a grace-filled year in the small town of Urbania, Italy, the Lord decided it was time to move the Benedictine Daughters of Divine Will to their new home in the Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro. Here’s a little glimpse of our first few months of 2012 in the little town called Talamello.
